Ban Sao Nak, located in Lampang, is one of the most outstanding architectural houses in Lampang as it was built with 116 teak wood pillars and has been called “Ban Sao Nak” According to a native language, “Nak” means “very, many, a lot”. The house was built with Burmese-Lanna artchitecture, consisting of a large building with 116 teak wood pillars. The terraces were influenced by Burmese architecture, while the roofs and structures were influenced by Lanna style. Originally, the house was a place to welcome guests, a venue for Khantok dinners and sacred ceremony as well. Ban Sao Nak contains two bedrooms connected by the roof while the living area extends along the front of the house. The area of 3 rai house consists of a large house, a garage, and a barn with two ponds in front of the house and one pond at the back of the house. At the entrance, there is a Negkassar tree which is older than the house. The old style of the house reflects the way of life, tastes, and traditions of Lampang residents. Therefore, it can be said that Ban Sao Nak is a valuable architectural work.
